Attraction Trends of the Decade—Part 1

Entering into a new decade brings buzz about what the future holds, and according to Blooloop, the attractions industry is in for some high-tech trends in the coming years. Because attractions visitors expect state-of-the-art technological experiences, the industry can expect to see continued growth and development in the AR, VR and AI departments. AR, or augmented reality, is what you use when playing with Snapchat filters, but it’s making its way into museums and theme parks and creating a more immersive and interactive guest experience. Virtual reality (VR) continues to drive advancements in theme park rides, museum exhibits and a number of themed pop-up attraction experiences while artificial intelligence (AI) remains a key player in delivering seemingly impossible experiences such as bringing people back to life for exclusive displays or creating avatars to hang out with guests at theme parks.

The roaring 20’s look promising for the attractions industry. Stay tuned as we continue to reveal the upcoming trends of the decade in the coming weeks. (Blooloop, 02.06.20)
